Job Description
(Customer Svc. Rep.)

EDUCATION: High School Graduate
POSITION: Full time (year around) with benefits

Responsibilities include being first contact for service customers via telephone and in person. Prepare written estimates for service work and parts; act as liaison between customer and manufacturer reps and technicians; strong interaction with in-house marine technicians. Track service/work orders; parts requests; perform timely follow-up with customer. Input/track work orders through computer. Ensure timely completion of work order and invoice submission.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
  • Strong working knowledge of parts and supplies used in the maintenance and repair of commercial and pleasure boats (power and sailboats) up to 80 feet.

  • Strong retail sales experience, preferably marine services industry

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written

  • Computer proficiency: Internet; MSOffice; DockMaster (or other marine services software).
